18th Century Scottish Crusie Lamp

Late 18th century wrought iron twin valve pendant crusie lamp with hook. These lamps were popular in the Scottish Islands where fish and seal oil was used to burn with a small wick. In the Shetlands the lamps were sometimes called 'collie' lamps. Condition good with minor pitting and signs of rust all commensurate with age. The height given includes the hook, height of lamp is 15cm.
